Hi bloggers,
I’m back; I forgot my little blog exists. I’m on vacation in the beautiful Dakar Senegal. School has been out for a month now and planned a getaway.
I had the opportunity to visit an island name Goree, was known for slave trading from 1700 to 1900. The little island holds a lot of history, and many people travel far to see it. As a matter of fact, our very own President Obama was here a week ago.

I’ve been to the island twice and had a great experience each time. The feeling is bittersweet because of the history, one my ancestors are apart of. I want to share some of my photos with you, and I pray that it brightens your day.
